Antares

Antares is a premier-plus male that demonstrates the essence of the Paco-Vicuña. He is fine boned with vicuña markings, has very dense fiber, and maintains a low micron count. Antares has a wonderful disposition. During this past breeding season he settled 85% of the females that were bred back after giving birth on the first attempt.

Our Antares crias demonstrate tremendous promise. Those out of classic-plus females show noticeable improvement in phenotype and fiber quality. Those out of premier and premier-plus females maintain or display enhanced qualities. We have just recieved the data from Antares' first offspring. Every one of them had a lower micron on their second fleeces, some as low as the 13 micron range!

Antares was imported in utero. His mother is Switzer-Land’s Lyra and his father is unknown.

Cloud

Cloud is a premier-plus male. He has a very dense and fine fleece. Cloud will bring new blood lines to our breeding program. With his very low micron count we are excited about this prospect.

Cloud is out Switzer-Land’s Titan and Harmonia. Titan had a 16.5 micron at 6 years of age and Harmonia's micron was 16.6 at 8 years of age.

Comet

Comet is a premier-plus male. His dark vicuna fleece contrasted with a snowy white bib is beautiful. Comet is very fine boned with vicuña markings, has extremely dense fiber, maintains an average micron count, and has a great disposition. We are very pleased with Comet's first three offspring born in the spring of 2011.

Comet is out of Aurora and Switzer-Land’s Neptune. Aurora maintained a 17 micron her entire life.

Flash

Flash is a premier-plus male. He has a very dense and fine fleece that grows three inches a year. We are expecting six crias out of Flash in the fall of 2012.

Flash is out of Flora and Switzer-Land’s Apollo.

Orion

Orion is a premier-plus male. He has vicuña markings, very dense fiber and an average micron for a herd sire. Orion is the boss and maintains dominance over all the males though he has a good disposition and respects people. He is a proven male. We are very pleased with Orion's first three crias (all girls). We have six more crias due out of Orion next year.

Orion is a different blood line and has qualities that will match up well with some of the females in our breeding program. He has three other siblings that have micron counts ranging from 15 – 17.

Orion was imported in utero. His mother is Switzer-Land’s Aphrodite and his father is unknown.

Saturn

Saturn is a premier-plus male out of import. He is fine boned with vicuña markings, has very dense fiber, and maintains a low micron count. We are expecting fourteen crias out of Saturn in the fall of 2012.

Saturn was imported from Chili in 2008.
